David Dorn

David Dorn is the UBS Foundation Professor of Globalization and Labor Markets at the University of Zurich. He also serves as the Director of the University of Zurich’s interdisciplinary research priority program on “Equality of Opportunity.” He was previously a tenured Associate Professor at the Center for Monetary and Financial Studies (CEMFI) in Madrid, a Visiting Professor at Harvard University, and a Visiting Scholar at Boston University, MIT, and the University of Chicago. Professor Dorn`s research connects the fields of labor economics, international trade, economic geography, macroeconomics, and political economy. In particular, he studies how globalization and technological innovation affect labor markets and society.
