Mauricio Ulate is a sixth year graduate student at the Department of Economics, University of California – Berkeley. He received his B.A. from the University of Costa Rica and his MA from the Center for Monetary and Financial Studies (CEMFI) in Madrid, Spain. He is broadly interested in macroeconomics and international economics, especially issues related to monetary policy.
