Vasso Ioannidou is a Professor of Finance at the Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) and a research fellow of the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). Prior to joining Bayes, Vasso was a Professor of Finance at Lancaster University and Tilburg University. Vasso's research and expertise are on issues of financial stability on the intersection of banking, corporate finance, and macroeconomics. Her work is published in top finance journals, including the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics, and Management Science and it is regularly presented in leading international conferences around the world. She currently serves as an associate editor of the Journal of Banking and Finance. Vasso obtained a PhD in Economics from Boston College.
