Virginia Di Nino

Economist, International Policy Analysis Division at European Central Bank

Virginia Di Nino is an economist in the International Policy Analysis Division of the European Central Bank since 2016. Before joining the ECB, she worked as economist in the Emerging Markets and World Trade Division of the Bank of Italy. She obtained her Ph.D. in International Trade from the Graduate Institute, Geneva. Her research interests focus on the determinants of international trade, especially the relationship with exchange rates regimes and international integration processes. She has also written about international trade and firm performance and about the structure and price formation in commodity markets.
