Zainab Iftikhar is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Goethe-University Frankfurt and a research affiliate at the CEPR. She will join the University of Bonn from 1.02.2023 as an Associate Professor. Her areas of research interest are development and growth, demographic economics and international migration. She graduated with a double PhD in Economics from the Université catholique de Louvain and the Universität Bielefeld in April 2018. Her current research is in the field of macroeconomics, family economics and migration economics. She has published her research in the Journal of Monetary Economics, the Journal of International Economics and the Review of Economic Dynamics.
